turning a corner

I told my friends that once you've lived in New York City, not much impresses you. But that was before I saw the beaches of La Jolla and drove up the Highway 101. Now maybe I'm just a little bit impressed. Just a little bit. and the 60-60 degree weather doesn't hurt either.

I promise I will be blogging more soon, just trying to get my house in order before Winston starts crawling and gets into every thing.

Hello! Nice to hear from you. Glad you are enjoying yourself... I can totally agree with you. I guess it's time that you are impressed in a "different" way.

I've thought before... there are things in NYC that you won't find anywhere else in the world (like most of anything that you see while out walking the streets of the city), and then there are things in the world that you will never see in NYC. (ex. stars in the sky at night, or beautiful mountains like the Rockies).

Guess you just have to make the best of (and appreciate things from) where ever you are... either that or come back to visit often! :) Good luck getting settled.

I was thinking of you (being very jealous of you) yesterday when it was 27 degrees but felt like 17. Yuck.

Enjoy the sun and beach for me, please. :)

Hey I found your blog off of Ruth's. I have a good friend who lives in Newport. She is tons of fun and has a little boy who is almost 2. Let me know if you want to get to know her.
