15 seconds of fame

Dan worked at a company started by two of his soccer buddies Adam and Jeremy Neff called J.J. Potts after his mission and the first year we were married. Their claim to fame were these quirky little ceramic mushrooms that they started making in their garage when they were in high school. We even attended a couple of trade shows for J.J. Potts while Dan worked there, and their business is steadily growing with distributors all over the U.S. and Canada.
A couple of months ago, Dan and I both did a double take when we saw this Visa commercial on T.V. and realized it featured shroomyz by J.J. Potts! In fact, those very mushrooms could have been hand painted by Dan himself! We immediately called Jeremy who hadn't heard anything about it, but he was still pretty excited! Dan and I have boxes of shroomyz of our very own to put in our garden someday when we have a house!
Look closely about halfway through the commercial and you will see a hand grabbing the shroomyz!
