The rumors are true. We are moving. We'll be headed out to California the beginning of the year and although Dan will staying with Merrill Lynch he'll be venturing out on his own as a financial advisor/private wealth manager. We are sad to leave our friends, New York, and all that is familiar here. But how can you not be excited about sunny skies, more space, and being closer to home. Meanwhile I've got lots of packing, purging, and soaking up New York to do before we make the trek west. We've got a busy couple of weeks ahead.
The downside, I don't know many people that live in San Diego. If you read this blog and you live there, will you please be my friend?

Okay this it totally random, but I know a cute couple who live in San Diego who just had a little boy as well. Check out the "Olson" link on my blog. The are from SLC (we met them in Virginia). I know it's random, but hey, thought I'd tell ya anyway :)
Congratulations! That is very exciting and I'm so jealous you will be living in sunny San Diego. We will definitely need to come visit.
I don't live in San Diego...but congrats on the new job and move! I'm sure it will be hard to leave NYC but you are moving to such a fun place, good luck!

I'm telling you - NYC to Cali is the way to do it. We will only be 2 hours from you, so if you ever want to visit LA/Santa Monica, let us know! We still need to meet Winston!
Welcome to Cali! We can only hope this means we will see you more, but sadly it's still an 8hr drive- but flights on Virgin America direct & cheap!
