I'm not sure if I should delete this blog or maintain it in a effort to show good faith that I will be back here regularly eventually.
At any rate, I'll update with some semi recent photos of Winston and some news.
Creer Baby # 2 will be making his debut early March and we're very excited. I'm still trying to wrap my head around two little boys but I'm sure they'll make for lots of great stories and mischief.
I have been on cloud nine all week. CC Interiors was featured on Design Sponge this week and it's brought a lot of attention and clients to my little business. I feel like this is a personal victory to me since I've worked so hard to get things up and running this year.
In this month of Thanksgiving I just want to say how grateful I am to have found something that I love so much and am passionate about, and that I can get paid for it!
If you need help with spaces in your house, I'm only a phone call away! Just know my calendar is filling up really quickly!
Pretending to drive the car is Winston's new favorite activity. It has replaced pulling all the books off the shelves and running down the street screaming so mommy will chase after you.
He could spend hours in the front seat playing with all the buttons and nosing around.
Winston has also figured out how to plug my blackberry into the charger. I think we have a little engineer on our hands.
Every time we get into the car and he realizes he's going to his car seat and not the driver's seat and terrible tantrum ensues.
Winston's halloween costume did not agree with him. Our attempts to dress up Humpty Dumpty turned out to be an all out nuclear meltdown complete with flailing of limbs and rolling on the floor.
SO we tried something different. Cowboy. Hysterical crying and leg kicking as he tried to pry the cowboy boots from his little feet.
So we tried something different. More crying and collapsing on the floor.
We finally settled on his skeleton jammies which suited him just right.
Although he's not too keen on costumes, he is a big fan on candy. This meant our little sweet tooth fit right in. Chocolate seems to be the favorite.
So with the help of reese's the day turned out just fine.
We've been having lots of fun lately. Walks in the leaves, trips to the pumpkin patch, the petting zoo, the children's museum. We're always trying to keep up with this kid.
Winston thinks the word for food is "cheese". You will hear him throughout the day, "cheese, cheese, cheese". He even wakes up in the morning saying "cheese". It just so happens cheese is his FAVORITE food. We buy two bricks every time we go to costco. He is still happy and silly, and adventurous. A couple of weeks ago he decided he was big enough to go down the slide at the park all by himself. Our crazy boy is not afraid of anything. Winston especially loves animals. Dogs and horses seem to be the favorites but he loves anything with 4 legs. We had a fun date at the petting zoo with daddy. Winston thought the sheep were fascinating.
We spent the weekend in early October up at the cabin, just as the leaving were working their magic. Winston was in heaven exploring and throwing rocks in the river. It was so much fun to spend some time with just the three of us!
