Newport

We spent a long weekend at the beach with Grandma and Grandpa Creer. It was heavenly. 

One of our friends was getting married in Newport Beach so we thought its was the perfect excuse for a little trip. Winston LOVED the sand and was such a good sport.

Happy Birthday Winston

Today is my darling boy's first birthday. He woke this morning all smiles. He's been running around, dancing, laughing, opening and closing doors, and exploring. We love his silly personality and his babbling. I think he must know today is a special day.

All this makes me wonder, where did the last year go? When did my little bundle become a little boy? 

Happy Birthday dear Winston, don't let this next year go quite so fast!

You may have noticed there hasn't been much posting here lately. That is because I've been posting here. That's right folks, some of you know that I started my own interior design firm a couple of months ago and I've been so busy working on projects since I haven't been ready to share this until now.

We went to the laundromat a couple of weeks ago with Molly and Ruby. There was no clothes washing involved, just laughing, pushing carts, taking pictures,  and making people stare.

Seeing the look on Winston's face when Dan comes home from work says it all. We love our Dad's and Grandpa's very much around here. Happy Father's Day!

go fish

My husband is in Canada catching fish and discovering the meaning of life in the middle of nowhere which = no cell service, no internet.  I haven't talked to him in four days and it feels really weird to have zero communication. 

So, I am writing to you instead. Come home Dan, we miss you! 

just because

Winston is getting to be such a big boy. He loves being around older kids and just jumps right in with all the action. He think he is so big in fact that he gets himself into trouble. He pretty much needs constant supervision and is in to everything. As these pictures show, he took a tumble and cut his eye, almost needing stitches but luckily the Dr. fixed him up with a little glue instead. I have a feeling this is only the beginning with this one.
