100!

When I was in second grade, we had a 100 day at school. Basically, every student in the class had to bring and/or wear one hundred of something to school so we could grasp just how many 100 hundred really was. I think I wore 100 heart stickers on my shirt and brought 100 gold fish crackers in a bag. I remember meticulously counting them out so I was sure to have exactly 100!

This is actually my one hundredth post, and with that I thought I would turn the subject to $100 dollars. Every week in Primary, we have a kid that is essentially our V.I.P of the week. To guess who this special VIP is we read answers off of a questionnaire we had all the kids fill out with their parents. My favorite question is, what would you do if you had $100 dollars? I love this because I love hearing what the kids come up with. I think we have heard everything from use it to buy toys and candy, to save it for college. One of my favorite answers was "use it to buy a puppy or a car".If only life were so cheap, and simple! But this question always gets me to thinking what I would do if I had an extra $100 lying around.

Here are some ideas...

I have been craving these Tory Burch flats for a while now, but it would take two Benjamin Franklin's to cover these pricey shoes.
I might spring for dinner at a pricey restaurant, lately I've been wanting to go to Balthazar!

Being obsessed with stationary and paper products I would love to get my hands on some customized stationary from iomoi!
or perhaps, I would do what Dan and I usually do with our extra money, and put it toward a little trip somewhere fun, after all extra money always helps when you are on vacation.
Regardless, it is always fun to have a little extra cash, and unfortunately, I was never one of those kids who would choose to put it in the bank. I always to have more ideas of how to spend my money, than money I have to spend, which leaves me curious to know, what would you do with an extra $100 dollars?

a day at the spa... too bad that would only cover about half of it... I am finding out through budgeting that $100 goes way too fast!
